The story of Ryvie
Ryvie was born from a realization: taking back control of your digital life was reserved for a handful of insiders. On one side, the cloud giants, simple but owning your data. On the other, open-source tools, powerful but reserved for experts.
We wanted to bring together the best of both: the simplicity of a big service and the sovereignty of a space that belongs only to you. No configuration, no command line, accessible to everyone.
The project is Source Available: every line of code is accessible, auditable and improvable by the community. Transparency is at the heart of Ryvie.
Today, Ryvie comes in three forms: Ryvie Home, a device at home; Ryvie Cloud, a dedicated server hosted in Europe; and RyvieOS, the free software to install yourself.
